Venezuela - Floods and landslides (ECHO 13 May 2022)

On 10-11 May, heavy rainfall was reported across Merida State (north-western Venezuela), causing floods, river overflow and landslides.
According to media reports, one person died and three others were injured. Several houses and road sections have been reportedly damaged by floodwaters.
On 13-14 May, light to locally moderate rainfall is forecast for Merida State.
