Türkiye - Earthquake, update (ECHO 25 Nov 2022)

After the 6.1M earthquake - 5.9M as recorded by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) - that occurred on 23 November at 1.08 UTC in Düzce Province (north-western Türkiye), the number of casualties increased.
According to the latest report by AFAD, as of 24 November, 93 people have been injured, of which 37 people in Düzce, 26 in Sakarya, 14 in Bolu, ten in Zonguldak, four in Bursa and two in Istanbul. AFAD and Turkish Red Crescent deployed blankets, tents, heaters, and food and non food items for the affected people.
Over the next 24 hours, moderate to lacally heavy rainfall is forecast over north-western Türkiye, including the area affected by the earthquake.
