First downpour in Accra exposes flood vulnerability

The first major rain in Accra for the year has caused some minimal flooding in parts of the city. The rain, which lasted more than three hours, left in its wake widespread silting in parts of the capital and moderate flooding in areas such as Odawna and Dansoman.
