Tropical Storm BARRY, Louisiana, Mississippi and ArkansasMedia report power outages for more than 60,000 customers in Louisiana, for 3,300 in Mississippi and another 1,200 in Arkansas. In addition, 23 shelters were opened across Louisiana. Roads were closed, traffic were severely disrupted and some flights from Louis Armstrong International Airport were delayed across New Orleans area (Louisiana) due to the flooding. A mandatory evacuation order for around 10,000 people was issued for Plaquemines Parish (eastern coast of Louisiana).
