Algeria, Early to Mid November 2021Flooding was reported several parts of Algeria from 07 November 2021. On 07 November, Civil Protection in Relizane reported the rescue of 4 people trapped in cars in flooded areas of Mazouna municipality, and 3 people from a flooded building in El Hamadna. Local media reported one person rescued from a flooded buildings in El Harmelia in Oum El Bouaghi. Videos shared on Social Media showed flooding in Talassa, Chlef Province. On 09 November Civil Protection reported flooding and rain damaged around 30 homes in Chaiba, Tipaza Province Province. Civil Protection also reported a building collapsed in Bologhine, Algiers, killing 3 people and injuring 2. It is not clear if the collapse was weather-related.
